Oleg Kalachev is an active open source movement participant. He collaborated in various open projects, including PX4 and ROS. He’s the main developer of the software platform for an educational quadcopter Clover. He was a jury member and organizer of numerous robotics competitions and events. Along with his colleagues from COEX, twice participated in PX4 Dev Summit as a speaker (2019, 2020). Before joining robotics Oleg worked as a web developer in a Russian search engine Yandex.
